Kristin Alexuandria-Nicole Garrick is a nurse practitioner with advanced education and training in care for serious conditions. Her focus is adults with blood cancers. She supports patients and manages their symptoms while they undergo chemotherapy, immunotherapy or cellular therapy, including stem cell transplantation. She also performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as bone marrow biopsies and lumbar punctures.

In addition to providing acute care, Garrick is a certified hospice and palliative nurse, working to give each patient supportive care throughout their journey and prioritizing dignity at the end of life. She understands the challenges, stress and vulnerability associated with going through treatment for a serious illness and is dedicated to ensuring compassionate, holistic care that honors individual needs and preferences.

Garrick earned her Master of Science degree at UCSF, specializing in adult-gerontology acute care. Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, she worked as an oncology nurse with hospitalized patients, developing skills and gaining knowledge that she continues to use today.
