Pronouns: She | Her | Hers

Nadine Wlasiuk is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in electrophysiology, a division of cardiology that focuses on the heart's electrical system. She provides comprehensive care for patients with heart rhythm disorders, such as atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia, as well as those with implanted electronic devices that support the heart, such as implantable loop recorders, pacemakers and defibrillators. She seeks to individualize care by facilitating shared decision-making and providing information that patients can understand and use.

Wlasiuk earned her master's degree in nursing from the University of Florida. She earned a doctor of nursing practice degree at the University of North Florida, where she also served as a faculty member at the nursing school for four years. Before becoming a nurse, she worked as a certified birth doula, childbirth educator and birth assistant.

Wlasiuk's grandmother, a World War II Ukrainian refugee, had atrial fibrillation and a pacemaker. Now, every patient Wlasiuk cares for feels to her like an opportunity to care for her grandmother, who had a profound influence on her life.

Outside of work, Wlasiuk enjoys exploring the beauty of the Bay Area, hiking, Peloton, practicing her French horn and attempting to learn ballet. She considers her four children to be her life's opus.
