Pronouns: She | Her | Hers

Anna Ong is a nurse who cares for patients with pancreatic cancer. As a case manager, she educates patients and helps address their disease symptoms and treatment side effects. As a nurse navigator, she reviews referrals and contacts patients who may be eligible for clinical trials (studies of promising new treatments).

In research, Ong works closely with doctors conducting clinical trials and other studies. She supports patients participating in trials by triaging symptoms, providing information about medications and documenting side effects.

Ong earned her bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of San Francisco.

Outside of work, Ong enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and eating good food. The Golden State Warriors are her favorite sports team, and watching Chinese and Korean TV dramas is her guilty pleasure.

As an oncology nurse, I support my patients and their families emotionally and clinically as they face the challenges of having pancreas cancer.
