Volunteer Auxiliaries

Support patient care programs through our volunteer auxiliaries.

Hospitals Auxiliary at Parnassus

Through the generosity of its friends, the Hospitals Auxiliary of UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Children's Hospital at Parnassus has worked for over 40 years to raise much-needed patient amenities. A volunteer, nonprofit organization, it provides support to staff and doctors in their efforts to bring the highest level of compassionate care to all patients. Its fundraising activities include the sale of artwork in the fine art gallery on the first floor of the hospital, a vehicle donation program and other special fundraising events. Proceeds support patient services such as providing clothing to Emergency Room patients and teddy bears for children undergoing surgery.

Auxiliary at Mount Zion

The Auxiliary at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion is a volunteer, nonprofit organization, with roots that date back to 1887. The auxiliary supports the entire medical center at Mount Zion — including the outpatient surgery center, clinics, laboratories and the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center — through volunteerism, fundraising and community relations.
