Joseph Acquah, an acupuncturist and tai chi chuan instructor, will lead this one-hour, 10-week class at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine. Qigong (pronounced "chee gong") is an ancient Chinese health care system that integrates physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. This course will compliment your existing health care program and provide you with more natural energy to enhance your treatment process.

This class is free but registration is required. To register or for more information, call the UCSF Cancer Resource Center at (415) 885-3693. (No class will be held on Oct. 29.) This course is co-sponsored by the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine and the UCSF Ida & Joseph Friend Cancer Resource Center.
