Did you know that one-third of personal care products contain at least one chemical linked to cancer? Every day we use multiple personal care products — from shampoo, to deodorant, to makeup — containing chemical ingredients that are absorbed through the skin, inhaled or ingested. Some chemicals in these products are linked to cancer, birth defects and infertility; most have never been evaluated for health and safety. Find out what you can do, what ingredients to avoid and how to choose safer alternatives for your every day products. Bring in your favorite product with an ingredient label.

This is a free event. Light refreshments will be served. To register, call the Cancer Resource Center at (415) 885-3693. This event is co-sponsored by the Breast Cancer Fund.
