Research
The Obstetrics and Gynecology Research and Education Foundation was established in 1976 by members of the UCSF Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, former patients and members of the community. The foundation supports research and teaching in obstetrics, gynecology and reproductive medicine and biology.
By sponsoring innovative studies and the education of those who carry forward a tradition of investigation, the foundation plays a key role in advancing the science of women's health. The foundation also is committed to educating women about their own health and wellness by presenting informational forums to help them play a greater role in their own health care. This booklet was produced through the generous support of educational grants from Berlex Laboratories Inc. and Genentech Inc.
