Appointments

On your first appointment, please bring any medical records or lab results that your personal physician asks you to bring. Make sure your referring doctor has sent copies of any cardiac studies of your arrhythmia.

Please arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment to facilitate check-in and be sure to bring your insurance information. During this consultation, our physicians and nurse will thoroughly cover your arrhythmia, plan your treatment and answer any questions. Please allow one to two hours for this appointment.

Our nurse coordinator, Marilynn Namekawa Wong, will contact long-distance patients who cannot come for consultation. She will discuss the treatment plan developed by our physicians and your personal physician, and schedule your procedure date. You may contact her directly at (415) 476-9194. Her e-mail address is wong@medicine.ucsf.edu.

Most patients are referred to us by their personal physicians. Upon referral, we will contact you to schedule a consultation with one of our physicians. To contact us directly, please call UCSF Medical Center's Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Clinic at (415) 353-2554.
