Toxic Hepatitis

Research

Liver specialists at UCSF Medical Center have a particular interest in toxic hepatitis and its treatment. They are currently participating in a federally funded national network that is interested in defining the genetic factors that underlie idiosyncratic drug reactions. Dr. Timothy Davern and Dr. Nathan Bass are leading these investigations.
