UCSF Medical Center participates in research projects or clinical trials that study various promising new drug treatments. Genetic research, involving patients, also is conducted by the Multiple Sclerosis Genetics Group, which includes scientists at UCSF. Not all trials, however, are suitable for all patients. To determine if you may qualify for a clinical trial that may help you, talk with your neurologist.
