If you're approaching end-stage renal disease or on dialysis, you can learn more about kidney transplantation by making a pre-transplant evaluation appointment.

Clinics are located throughout Northern California and Hawaii for pre-transplant assessment and post transplant management. These clinics are held at various intervals based on the needs of the patient and referring physician community. A nurse coordinator, transplant surgeon and kidney specialist staff each clinic. The objective is to provide care to patients in the community and provide continuing education to referring physicians as needed.

To make an appointment for clinics in Hawaii, ask your dialysis center or referring physician to contact the clinic directly. Because some outreach clinics aren't open every day, please call us in San Francisco to make appointments at these clinics.
