Other Experts Karen A. Taylor, physician assistantKaren A. Taylor is a physician assistant in Orthopedics at UCSF Medical Center. Her area of expertise is in the treatment of the foot, ankle and hand, including conditions such as ankle fractures and sprains, plantar fasciitis, bunions, achilles tendonitis and ruptures, wrist fractures, finger fractures, elbow and hand ligament reconstruction.
Taylor earned a master's degree in physician assistant studies at the University of Florida and two bachelor degrees, one in medicine and the other in biology. Physician assistants work, under the supervision of doctors, as part of the medical team to diagnose and treat illnesses.
