Research

We are currently investigating surgical outcome measures for both arthroscopic and open shoulder and elbow procedures. Biomechanical experiments on innovative devices are conducted in our UCSF Bioengineering lab. We also are involved in collaborative research on elbow instability with the Biomechanics lab at UC Irvine, on the rotator cuff with the UCSF Biomechanics lab, and on shoulder arthroplasty with the Engineering lab at UC Berkeley.
