Urologists at UCSF Medical Center provide diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the urinary tract, including urologic cancers, male sexual dysfunction, urinary incontinence in women and men, pelvic pain, urinary stone disease, male infertility and prostate disease. We also perform urinary tract reconstruction.
We are ranked as one of the top 10 hospitals in urology and we are one of four centers in the nation to receive National Cancer Institute funding for our innovative research to prevent or cure prostate cancer. Prostate imaging and biopsy, cryosurgery and radioactive seed implantation for the management of localized cancers are offered. New treatment techniques are available to patients with a variety of disorders.
