Advanced Lung Disease Program
The UCSF Pulmonary Medicine program is ranked among the top 10 in the nation by U.S. News & World Report in the treatment of respiratory problems, including advanced lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, interstitial lung disease, nontuberculous myobacteria and occupational lung disease.
Our Advanced Lung Disease program is dedicated to providing patients with debilitating lung disease the best possible care, including ensuring an improved quality of life. Using a case management approach, we coordinate all available resources to develop a treatment plan that is designed to meet each patient's specific needs. Addressing each aspect of a patient's care, the program offers medical therapies, education and psychosocial support.
