Dance Injury Clinic

Professional dancers spend up to eight hours a day performing at a level of intensity that often takes its toll in the form of chronic injury. The Dance Medicine Clinic at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion provides services to dancers through a weekly screening and education clinic.

This specialized clinic provides musculoskeletal screening and treatment, injury evaluation and education.

The center, which is sponsored by the Mount Zion Health Fund, is open on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The first visit is free. Each additional visit is $5. Patients are treated by a physical therapist, a podiatrist and surgeon.
