Men of Color — HIV and AIDS Care

The Men of Color Program provides minority men — in particular African Americans — who are HIV-positive with high quality care in a culturally sensitive environment. The program helps patients develop and maintain a relationship with a primary care provider.

Services offered include:

  • Care management
  • Dietician consultations
  • Peer advocate services
  • Pharmacist support
  • Primary care
  • Social services

Although HIV strikes all people, it is most prevalent today among African American males age 25 to 44. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), AIDS affects nearly seven times more African Americans and three times more Latinos than whites.

Any man of color in San Francisco living with HIV or AIDS is welcome to receive services at the Men of Color Program, available through 360: The Positive Care Center at UCSF Medical Center on Thursday mornings.

All forms of insurance are accepted.

For more information, please call:
360: The Positive Care Center (415) 353-2119
