Orthotics and Prosthetics

The UCSF Orthotic and Prosthetic Service is a state-of-the-art patient care center. Our staff evaluates, designs, custom fits and manufactures all types of orthotics, or braces, and prosthetics, or artificial limbs, to meet the needs of each patient. Staff members — including doctors, physical therapists and orthotist-prosthetists — are recognized for their expertise, quality care and reputation throughout California. We are at the forefront of technology and an integral part of the rehabilitation team.
