Smoking Cessation Class
The Tobacco Education Center (TEC) at UCSF Medical Center offers classes as well as individual consultations with doctors and nurses trained in treating tobacco addiction.
Suzanne Harris, a registered nurse, certified tobacco treatment specialist and former smoker, leads a Smoking Cessation Class that covers smoking and health, addiction, strategies for quitting and motivation.
Classes involve a series of four weekly sessions held in the afternoons or evenings. Each class is held for 1 hour and 45 minutes. The registration fee is $55.
Location
Classes are held in conference rooms at the Mount Zion campus.
