
Pediatrician
Dr. Ally La Barbara is a pediatrician at UCSF Primary Care at Laurel Village. She is particularly interested in providing integrative care and urgent care to children of all ages. Her interests also include working with parents to construct detailed treatment plans for their children to address nutrition, behavior, and health optimization, incorporating homeopathy and functional medicine.
La Barbara is a graduate of the UCSF School of Medicine. She completed a residency in pediatrics at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital at Stanford. She is an assistant clinical professor in pediatrics at UCSF and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is learning French at the Alliance Francaise de San Francisco, and understands academic Italian and medical Spanish.
La Barbara will begin seeing patients at UCSF Primary Care at Laurel Village on Jan. 1, 2013. Patients, who would like to select her as their primary care doctor, should choose another UCSF doctor during open enrollment and switch to La Barbara on Jan. 1.
