Barbara Fowble, M.D., F.A.C.R.

Radiation cancer specialist

Dr. Barbara Fowble is a radiation oncologist who specializes in the treatment of breast cancer. She is internationally recognized for her expertise in radiation and breast cancer. Dedicated to the treatment of breast cancer patients, Fowble has treated thousands of women with radiation. Her research studies have defined the roles of breast conservation therapy as an alternative to mastectomy and radiation after mastectomy.

Fowble received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Her internship was completed at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City and was followed by a residency in radiation oncology at New York University and Drexel University and a fellowship in radiation oncology at Thomas Jefferson Hospital. She is board certified in radiation oncology and has been awarded fellowships in the American College of Radiology and the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology.
