Acupuncturist
Beverly Burns, a licensed acupuncturist at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, has practiced Chinese medicine since 1991, specializing in treating patients with cancer. In addition, she is part of a team conducting research on women with breast cancer at the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. She also helped establish the Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic in Oakland, a clinic for low-income women with cancer, and is its former clinical director.
