

Pediatric cancer specialist
Dr. Robert E. Goldsby is a pediatric cancer specialist at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital and director of the Survivors of Childhood Cancer Program, which provides care and long-term follow-up of patients who have survived a childhood cancer. One of his particular areas of interest is the treatment of young patients with high-risk sarcomas.
Goldsby earned a medical degree at the University of Vermont at Burlington, completed a pediatric internship and residency at Oakland Children's Hospital and a pediatric hematology and oncology fellowship at Primary Children's Medical Center at the University of Utah. He has earned numerous awards and grants including an American Cancer Society Grant and Hope Street Kids Grant. Goldsby is also an assistant professor of pediatrics at UCSF.
