

Gynecologic cancer surgeon
Dr. Stefanie M. Ueda specializes in gynecologic cancers, with a particular interest in ovarian cancer and robotic surgery. Her research has addressed conditions and treatments including low grade serous and clear cell ovarian cancer, uterine serous cancer, biologically targeted therapies and clinical treatment outcomes.
Ueda earned a medical degree with honors from the New York University School of Medicine. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Hawaii and a fellowship at the Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service in the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. She received awards for cancer research in 2007 from the Hera Women's Cancer Foundation and Entertainment Industry Foundation. Ueda is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
