Nancy Milliken, M.D.

Director of UCSF Women's Health

Dr. Nancy Milliken is director of the UCSF National Center of Excellence in Women's Health. She also is vice dean of the UCSF School of Medicine and associate chair for Clinical Programs in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF. She was the principal investigator of a proposal that led to the designation of UCSF as one of the six vanguard centers of excellence in Women's Health, named by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Under her leadership, the center works to enhance research, patient care, education and leadership activities to improve the health and well-being of women and girls throughout diverse communities.

Milliken was named a UCSF Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in 1985 and studied ethical issues related to women's health. In 2002, she received the UCSF Chancellor's Award for the Advancement of Women and in 2003 she became the vice dean of the UCSF medical school.

Currently, this doctor is not seeing patients.
