Women's Health Creates 'One-Stop' Service Center

The UCSF Womens Health Center has a new home at 2356 Sutter St., at Divisadero Street, at Mount Zion.
The eight-story building brings together a number of womens services in one location including:
The building also includes the Healing Garden and Idas Cafe. A gala opening for the Womens Health Center is planned for later in the year.
Dr. Nancy Milliken, director of the UCSF National Center of Excellence in Womens Health, said, In addition to providing one-stop shopping, this expansion will increase our ability to provide integrated, multi-disciplinary care to women.
The Women's Health Center, recognized internationally for its expertise, is the only nationally designated Center of Excellence in Women's Health in Northern California, offering comprehensive, specialized care and health education for women.
As of March 26, all primary care and gynecology services previously provided in the Ambulatory Care Center (ACC) at Parnassus moved to the new Womens Health Center. The new center also offers routine prenatal care to obstetrics patients. All patients who previously used the Faculty Obstetrics and Gynecology Practice located at 2330 Post St. at Mount Zion will be seen at the new center.
The Perinatology Clinic, which provides both high-risk and routine prenatal care, remains on the plaza level of the ACC at 400 Parnassus Ave. Clinics at 4909 Post St. and 333 Gellert Blvd., Suite 120,
Daly City, also will remain at those locations.

The Womens Health Clinical Research Center, which explores reproductive health such as fertility, and womens post-reproductive health concerns, also is located at Mount Zion.
