UCSF Children's Hospital provides services for children and teens to treat allergies and immunology disorders. Our Pediatric Immunology Center, designated by California Children's Services, offers comprehensive evaluations of chronic and unusual infections, primary immunodeficiency including hypogammaglobulinemia that leads to upper respiratory infections, antibody deficiencies, white cell defects and other immune deficiencies.
We provide treatment for allergic disorders such as allergic rhinitis, atopic dermatitis, food and drug allergies and anaphylaxis that results in sudden, severe and potentially fatal systemic allergic reactions that can involve the skin, respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract and cardiovascular system.
