Dr. Biljana Horn (right) listens to a young boy's heartbeat. Horn, who is the director of the UCSF Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Service, is a leading pediatric bone marrow transplant expert, specializing in the transplant of peripheral blood stem cells. She also has a special interest in pediatric oncology and has training in neuro-oncology. Her research involves the use of reduced intensity conditioning regimens and donor lymphocyte infusions for children with high-risk cancers and other diseases of bone marrow stem cells.
