Nurses Margaretta Page, clinical nurse specialistMargaretta Page is a clinical nurse specialist in neuro-oncology who co-manages the care of all brain tumor patients treated at UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Children's Hospital. Page and her colleague, Jane Rabbitt, both registered nurses, are recognized nationally for their expertise in caring for children and adults participating in clinical trials. They often are asked to speak to community and professional groups regarding the care of patients with brain tumors. Page earned her bachelor's degree at St. Louis University and her master's degree in neuro-science nursing at UCSF. Page joined UCSF Medical Center in 1985.
Return to top Caroline Pearson, pediatric nurse practitionerCaroline Pearson is a pediatric nurse practitioner with specialty training in neurosurgery. She is actively involved in the neurosurgical management of children in outpatient clinics and during their stay at UCSF Children's Hospital. She provides ongoing staff and family education. She has a special interest in managing children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. Pearson earned a bachelor's degree in nursing at the University of Pennsylvania and a master's degree in nursing at UCSF. She has over 10 years of experience in pediatric nursing.
