Sarah Roney, clinical social worker

Sarah Roney is a clinical social worker who specializes in providing psychosocial, emotional and practical support and resources to pediatric hematology patients and their families. She works collaboratively with the hematology team to improve the quality of life for pediatric patients living with chronic illness and their affected family members. Roney has a wide range of experience working with infants, children, adolescents, youth and adults, in a number of settings. She received her masters in social work at San Francisco State University with an emphasis in practice with individuals, families and groups.
