Conditions and Treatments
There are two primary types of hydrocephalus:
Acquired, caused by conditions that occur after birth such as a tumor, injury or disease that block the absorption of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF)
Congenital, the most common type that's caused by a brain malformation or birth defect
