Our Experts
Our staff is a team of physicians, nurses and other caregivers experienced in treating the special genitourinary problems that can occur in children. They are not only pioneers in improving treatments for these conditions, but have developed special expertise in communicating with youngsters and their families about physical problems that often are stigmatized in our society.
Doctors
Nurses Angelique C. Hinds, Nurse PractitionerAngie attended the School of Nursing at San Francisco State University, later working as an inpatient pediatric surgery nurse at UCSF Medical Center and Children's Hospital in Orange County. She received her master's degree in nursing from the University of California at Los Angeles and began working as a pediatric nurse practitioner in ambulatory pediatrics and child sexual abuse for the County of San Mateo. She returned to UCSF Children's Hospital in 1997. Angie helped establish and coordinates our Children's Continence Clinic. She helps treat otherwise healthy patients who have problems with incontinence, recurrent urinary tract infections and various dysfunctional elimination syndromes. She also manages pediatric urology patients who are hospitalized and in the Pediatric Urology Clinic.
