UCSF Children's Hospital at ValleyCare provides the following services:

• Hospitalists — Doctors from UCSF Children's Hospital, who specialize in the care of hospitalized children, provide round-the-clock coverage.

• Neonatologists — Two UCSF neonatologists are on-site every day, directing care in the Intensive Care Nursery.

• Multispecialty Clinic — UCSF pediatricians provide services in a pediatric multispecialty clinic, one of the first of its kind in the Tri-Valley. Subspecialty services provided include gastroenterology, pulmonology, eating disorders and support for existing cardiology practices.

• Prenatal Diagnostic Center — A Prenatal Diagnostic Center, equipped with the latest diagnostic technology, is available for women planning to give birth at ValleyCare. The center offers an advanced prenatal test in the first trimester for birth defects such as Down syndrome. Specialists in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Services offer screening services and obstetric consultation for high-risk pregnancies.
