Bereavement Retreats (Children's Cancer)
The death of a child has a significant and lasting effect on the entire family. Recognizing this need, we have established a retreat for families whose children have died at UCSF Children's Hospital. The weekend retreat takes place every other year. Special facilitators are present to work with small groups throughout the weekend. The camps are sponsored by the UCSF Children's Cancer and Blood Diseases Program, which invites all family members, including siblings, to attend.
