
Gastroenterologist
Dr. Christian Mathy is a gastroenterologist who specializes in the treatment and diagnosis of gastrointestinal disorders and gastrointestinal cancers, including pancreatic cancer. He is an expert in performing interventional endoscopy, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) and endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). He has a specific interest in minimally invasive endoscopic management of esophageal, bile duct, stomach and pancreatic tumors.
Mathy earned a medical degree at Duke University School of Medicine and completed a medical internship and residency at Stanford University Medical Center. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at UCSF, focusing on advanced pancreatic and biliary endoscopy. He is the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including a Howard Hughes Medical Student Research Fellowship.
