Radiology is a specialty that uses imaging techniques, such as X-rays and ultrasound, to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions. At UCSF Medical Center, we offer a full spectrum of techniques, using the most advanced equipment. Services offered at this location include: mammography, breast MRI, breast ultrasound and breast interventional procedures.
We have a 30-year record as a world-renowned breast imaging program. Speed of diagnosis is a distinguishing feature of our program, with nearly all breast imaging exams reported within 24 hours of the test being performed. We use 100 percent full-field digital mammography, which has been proven to detect additional cancers that were missed using older technologies, and uses less radiation than older analog mammography.
Routine Mammography — For routine mammography screening, see our online appointment request form.
