

The UCSF Comprehensive Fibroid Center is dedicated to providing customized care and the best treatment available for women with uterine fibroids.
The choice of treatment depends on your personal preference and on the size and location of your fibroids. We offer a variety of innovative surgical techniques, including laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. We also perform uterine artery embolization, a new non-surgical procedure for women who have completed childbearing. Our services include:
The center is directed by Dr. Alison Jacoby, a gynecologist who founded the center and who specializes in fibroids, their treatment, alternatives to hysterectomy and minimally invasive surgery techniques.

Public parking is available in a parking garage at 1635 Divisadero St. The garage entrance is on Sutter Street. The garage is open from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday to Friday and closed on weekends.
The rate is $10 an hour, if you enter the garage before 1 p.m., with a $30 maximum. If you enter the garage after 1 p.m., the rate is $2 per 20 minutes or $6 an hour, with a $20 maximum for up to 12 hours.

Metered street parking is rarely available.
Valet parking is available at UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion, 1600 Divisadero St. Auto drop-off is available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday and pick-up until 5 p.m. The service is closed on weekends and holidays. Parking rates are $6 an hour, with a $30 maximum. Those with a disabled placard are eligible to pay a flat rate of $12. For more information about valet parking, call (415) 514-4520.

The No. 1 California bus route stops at the corner of California and Divisadero streets, which is three blocks north of Mount Zion.

Free UCSF shuttles travel between the Parnassus and Mount Zion campuses as well as other UCSF locations. For your convenience we have a Parnassus-Mount Zion Express Shuttle that leaves every 15 minutes.
The shuttle departs from Parnassus in front of the UCSF Kalmanovitz Library at 530 Parnassus Ave.
