Obstetrics and Gynecology Services at Serramonte offers comprehensive gynecological and obstetrical care provided by UCSF doctors, nurse practitioners and certified nurse midwives. Our mission is to provide the highest quality specialized care to all women who come to us. Services include:

• Well-women gynecology care
• Consultation and care for gynecological conditions
• Family planning, including preconception counseling
• Care for normal pregnancy and birth
• Perinatology, or maternal-fetal medicine (care for abnormal maternal and fetal conditions)
• Onsite lab for patients

UCSF's Birth Center is state of the art and family oriented. The private birthing suites have bathrooms with showers, whirlpool tubs and amenities such as refrigerators. Patients typically labor, deliver and recover there. After your recovery, you and your baby move to a private postpartum room, with a deep-soaking tub and chairs that convert into sleepers for family members or guests.
