Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinic

The Rheumatoid Arthritis Clinic conducts comprehensive evaluations by a team including rheumatologists and a plastic surgeon specializing in the correction of hand deformities. Patients seen in this clinic are monitored over time to evaluate responses to new therapies.

Because many of the patients in this clinic have complex systemic disease, rheumatologists work closely with specialists in other departments at UCSF Medical Center to address all of their needs. These specialists include orthopedic surgeons who specialize in hand, shoulder, knee, foot and ankle deformities as well as joint replacement.
