

Surgical pathologist
Dr. Grace E. Kim is co-director of Surgical Pathology and director of Pediatric Surgical Pathology. She is board certified in anatomic and pediatric pathology. Her areas of specialty includes pancreatic, liver and pediatric conditions. Her research focus is in pancreatic neoplasms and pediatric liver cholestatic disorders.
Kim earned a medical degree at Loma Linda University and completed her anatomic pathology residency and a surgical pathology fellowship at Stanford University. She also completed a pediatric pathology fellowship at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas. She joined UCSF in 2000.
