The Child Life Department of the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital offers practicum and internship programs to students interested in the field of child life and child development.

Spiritual Care Services at UCSF Medical Center provides professional education in Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) under the guidance of certified supervisors. The program, established in 1961, is accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education.
