Idonah Molina

Program coordinator

Idonah Molina is a program coordinator at the Ida and Joseph Friend Cancer Resource Center of the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center. As program coordinator of the Peer Support Program for cancer patients, she helps patients connect by phone and online with volunteers, who are cancer patients and cancer survivors, to provide support and practical information about cancer treatment and recovery. Molina trains and advises the peer support volunteers in how to provide helpful information about their experiences, while not providing medical advice.

Molina also helps cancer patients and their families find information, resources and services. Molina earned a bachelor's degree in public health at the University of California at Berkeley.
