Dr. Lager is a true professional. Combine her knowledge about my issue being very easy to talk to I felt extremely comfortable with her.

Our main appt is to discuss about mri but she didnt evem bring it up until I brought it up. She seemed distracted as she was late. She offered me a medicine to which I asked if its safe to be taking given my current situation and she said no. But 10 mins after our call I got a call from walgreens that this prescription is in & delayed (?!?!) I also told her that a previous mediciation I took shrink my current condition and she said "again there are no studies so I still recommend the first medication" although there are also no studies with the first med she recommended that it shrinks my condition just possibly reduce the pain. I asked for a specific Item about my elevated numbers (which was super high - like quatruple the normal digits) and she first couldnt even find the test saying Ive had a lot of tests done (yes thats right cause no doctors has been helpful other than running tests on me) and then just shrugged it off saying that Im fine or we could get it restested and then told me to go to my pcp. I just felt not heard & dismissed during my appt. Very disappointed at ucsf's care! I thought I was getting top notch quality at ucsf when I first picked this doctor!

Dr. Lager is so kind and helpful. Not only does she listen and seem to really care she didn't rush me at all and she got me in for treatment before my insurance renews so it is saving me money and I'm really thankful to her.

I can see why it takes so long to get on Dr Lager's schedule. She's very very good.

Dr. Lager is the best. I simply couldn't have imagined in my wildest dreams having someone as caring and skilled as her.

Dr Lager seem sweet and nice. But was disappointed that I had to wait couple months to connect with a doctor and the n when we connected she did not have my MRI results images. This made it complicated to get her expert advice on how to prepare or proceed with my surgery or care.

Overall good experience

I am a returning patient and I really like Dr. Lager and her staff of doctors nurses and front desk. They are always friendly helpful and professional.

The entire meeting felt incredibly rushed - like I was just a roadblock before the next appointment. I waited months and had built up a lot of questions many of which I didn't even get to ask.

I was told that I would receive a AVS at the front desk when I left but no one was there. I didn't know how long to expect bleeding

Dr. Lager is an absolute rare diamond. UCSF needs to keep her and acknowledge her professionalism expertise and excellent patient care with some sort of reward or promotion. Wish there were more doctors like her. She has has helped change my life forever and for that I will always be ever grateful.
