Jennifer Cademartori is a nurse practitioner for the UCSF Liver Transplant Program. She works closely with patients and their families to help them return to a healthy life after they have had a liver transplant. She also works with patients with intestinal failure. In addition, Cademartori is actively researching the long-term effects of immunosuppression in transplant patients. She also has a special interest in the care of patients with hepatitis C and has served as a hepatitis C research coordinator.
Cademartori earned an associate's degree in nursing from Salt Lake Community College and a bachelor's degree in nursing from Webster State University in Utah. She earned a master's degree and certification as a family nurse practitioner at the University of Utah, where she graduated with honors. Cademartori earned a board certification as a Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) nurse after completing WOC training at Emory University. She is board certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center and a member of the California Nurse Practitioner Association.
