Jiali Li, M.D.

Breast cancer specialist

Dr. Jiali Li is a breast cancer specialist at the UCSF Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center at Mount Zion. In her research, she focuses on identifying immune signatures and genomic biomarkers for prognosis and therapy, and designing "personalized" treatment for patients with high risk breast cancer.

Li earned a medical degree in China at Tianjin Medical University and earned a Ph.D. in cancer immunology at the University of Southern California. She conducted postdoctoral research in cancer immunotherapy at Stanford University, then completed a residency at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco. and a fellowship in hematology and oncology at UCSF. She is a UCSF clinical instructor in hematology and oncology.
