Nurse practitioner
Judith Sweet is a nurse practitioner at the General Internal Medicine Clinic at Mount Zion who provides primary care to adults of all ages. She also provides gynecological exams for women and helps manage chronic and acute conditions. She is particularly interested in preventive and integrative medicine, and stress management, and has completed training in relaxation therapy, nutrition, herbalism and other complementary and integrative treatments.
Sweet earned a master's degree and a family nurse practitioner certification at the UCSF School of Nursing. She is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and California Nurses Association. She has contributed to a book on nurse practitioner standardized procedures and has published articles in professional journals.
