Julie Mak, M.S., L.C.G.C.

Genetic counselor

Julie Mak is a genetic counselor and supervisor at the UCSF Cancer Genetics and Prevention Program, seeing patients at both the Mount Zion and Mission Bay campuses. She works in all areas of hereditary cancer, with a special focus on hereditary gynecologic cancers.

Mak received her B.S. in biological science and German studies at Stanford, where she also completed her master's degree in neuroscience, with a focus on genetics. Mak received her master's degree in genetic counseling at the University of Toronto.
