Justine Underhill serves as the clinical director of the Young Adult and Family Center at UCSF's Langley Porter Psychiatric Institute. She specializes in counseling families with multiple stressors, as well as adolescents with eating disorders. She is the director of YAFC’s Intensive Family Therapy program and clinical coordinator of YAFC’s Eating Disorder Program. Underhill also oversees the family therapy training program for UCSF/LPPI.
Underhill earned a master's degree in education at Harvard University and a master's in social work at San Francisco State University. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Association of Family Therapists of Northern California and the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy and American Family Therapy Academy.
