

Family medicine specialist
Dr. Karen Jackson specializes in family medicine at the UCSF Family Medicine Center at Lakeshore. She has expertise in all aspects of primary care for patients of all ages and is particularly interested in patient education, health promotion and disease prevention.
Jackson earned a medical degree at the UCLA School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Woodland Hills, Calif. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, California Medical Association and American Medical Association. She is an associate clinical professor of family and community medicine at UCSF.
