Kavita Mishra, M.D., M.P.H.

Radiation oncologist

Dr. Kavita K. Mishra is a radiation oncologist at UCSF Medical Center, where she specializes in treating certain malignant and benign eye conditions with proton beam radiation. Her research focuses on studying the clinical outcomes of patients with uveal melanoma, particularly with respect to tumor control, preservation of the eye and quality of life issues.

Mishra earned her medical degree at the UCSF School of Medicine. Subsequently, she completed a master's degree in public health at Harvard School of Public Health and internship in internal medicine at Cambridge Hospital. Mishra then completed a residency in radiation oncology at UCSF Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She is an assistant professor at UCSF.
